Planning a Gift to Haven
This section offers ideas that will enable you to be a partner in Haven so that we will be the choice for end-of-life and palliative care through the passionate pursuit of excellence and innovation and honoring life by providing comfort, care and compassion to those we serve. Legacy giving provides the resources necessary to sustain excellence and preserve the future of Haven as we provide for our community.
There are as many different ways to support Haven as there are needs for your support. Planning a gift is more than just finding a need. There are a lot of factors to consider. If you are not familiar with the concepts and strategies of charitable gift planning, you might want to take a moment to consider our quick guide to legacy gifts (Legacy Giving Options) and Factors in Planning.

The links that follow offer more details about a variety of types of gifts as well as assets to consider as the source for a gift. There are also stories about donors whose circumstances may be similar to your own. The choices can be as simple as a bequest in your will or trust that provides support to Haven after you are gone or a current gift such as a charitable gift annuity that provides income for your lives as well as a charitable tax deduction and potentially some relief from capital gains tax. Please explore the links below.

If you have already included Haven (North Central Florida Hospice Inc d/b/a Haven Hospice) in your estate plans, please let us know by calling us (see the Contact Us page) or filling out our estate intention form. We would like to assist you in making certain your intentions will be carried out. If you have not written a will yet, regardless of your charitable intent, please consider this for it is a gift to your loved ones.
Individual circumstances will vary - as with all tax and estate planning, please consult your attorney or estate specialist.
